Q: Is there a form for me to fill?
A: Yes. The form is only available online and can be found here.

Q: Why do I need to submit a video link?
A: The video link submitted through YouTube or YouKu, helps us determine the level of proficiency for us to eventually deliver the appropriate lesson plan for you (where applicable).

Q: Is there a minimum requirement to take part in the festival?
A: Yes, however, this is not measured by any qualifications to determine if an individual would or would not be accepted. The selection committee views each application on its merits and takes into consideration factors such as one's interest to pursue music, enthusiasm towards music and competency of the instrument. The selection committee’s decision is final.

Q: We applied for the festival and were approved. What do we do next?

A: Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email. Then, you are required to make a full payment of all fees within 14 days. The selection committee reserves the right to disqualify the application if the fees are not received within a reasonable time.

Q: My application was rejected to join the festival. Why? A: We are sorry that this has happened. We assure you that it is not because you aren’t good enough, but it could be due to reasons including:

  • Firm criteria we wish to uphold

  • The festival is over subscribed
